HISLE designed an outstanding luminaire for Studio Briand & Berthereau for an office design project. The collaboration between the three designers was nurtured by constructive exchanges and a shared philosophy. Hervé Isle de Beauchaine brought his expertise in lighting to bear on the ideas and concepts of Joran Briand and Arnaud Berthereau.

KALM is a wall or pendant light, finished to the highest standards by hand. Its shape and relief are reminiscent of the propagation of a wave on the surface of water.

Studio Briand & Berthereau 

Created in 2011, the Studio Briand & Berthereau (Paris and Quiberon) operates in the fields of interior, object and graphic design. Its philosophy is very simple: make the most possible out of the least possible. This approach seeks to create the perfect balance between form and function, by washing away the drawn-on aspect of the object to rid it of any superfluous addition and reveal its emotion-inducing power.

Collaborations

H.ISLE regularly works with designers. Hervé Isle de Beauchaine accompanies their lighting projects and contributes his technical expertise and know-how in terms of design, technicality and quality of light. These collaborations are a real asset for H.ISLE, which broadens its horizons and takes on new technical challenges for each project.
