On 15 September, HISLE organized a cocktail party attended by the partners who helped us set up our company at 27-29 rue Thiers in Vannes (Brittany, France) in July 2021. This event was also an opportunity to introduce our team and know-how to our new local network.

Balancing the robustness of solid timber with the soft lines of metal, the Bolacha lamp by Porto-based HMD Interiors is characterised by a cookie-shaped shade and comes in a beautiful gold finish.
“I wanted to create a light from wood,” confirms owner and designer Mónica Hedderich on the inspiration for the lamp. “The main aspect was always the wood, so I imagined this ‘bolacha’ – Portuguese for cookie – from solid timber. From there, the structure started to appear as a way to make it the star of the piece.”
