Designer: Yves Lecointre
Yves Lecointre, designer from the French region of Brittany, who envisions PICO, a collection with sober, timeless lines available as a table lamp, desk lamp, and reading light. Inspired by Hisle’s expertise and the world of fine leatherwork, PICO introduces leather for the first time into the brand’s collections, crafted with refined saddle-stitch finishing.
Resulting from a meticulous exploration of volume through folding, the lampshade evokes a luminous origami. At once supple and structured, it is enhanced by a slender metal stem and base in a pared-back composition. Yves Lecointre creates here a harmonious dialogue between technique and sensuality, material and light. The cordless and rechargeable PICO table lamp provides soft, enveloping light, perfect for creating a warm ambience or enhancing a relaxation area.

The Designer
Yves Lecointre is an industrial designer and graduate of ENSCI – Les Ateliers.
Early in his career, he collaborated with designer Marc Berthier, an experience that deeply shaped his vision and sparked his passion for combining technical precision with formal sensitivity. His creations are timeless, functional, and emotionally resonant— objects that tell a story while remaining structurally clear and accessible. Driven by a fascination with craftsmanship, Yves Lecointre explores traditional techniques with rigor, reinterprets them with creativity, and highlights their expressive potential. His design approach is guided by authenticity and pragmatism: each piece is conceived for real use, in close dialogue with its environment and the people who interact with it. Always balancing drawing and workshop practice, he works materials directly with his hands, transforming and refining them to give birth to objects that feel both precise and alive.
